With some upgraded armor the Citadel is possible. Clips are fairly cheap and can be bought in Quartz. With a 30 shot magazine ammo lasts for a long time.
Single shot and burst is good for almost everything else.

A full clip is a waste and I have only ever used it in Las Vegas. The NATO Assault rifle can fire single shot, burst or A Full clip. You can do this by trading off the 9mm and ammo off of the starting characters and to your custom characters. The 9mm has more rounds per clip at 18 vs 7. I also recommend that you dump the 45 pistols in favor of the 9mm. She has moderate armor and a submachine gun. She will become your fifth team member.Ĭhristine is pretty OP early game. She is found in an alley in downtown needles. When you are starting off I recommend that you go straight to Needles and pick up Christine. It is ok to dump some points into Assault rifle if you want to op content. The NATO assault rifle can be used all the way through the game. You can dump a couple of points into Medic and do that on two characters.Īutomatic Weapons are OP in this game. It is better to have many 1 point skills then a few 3 point skills. Shoot for an INT of 17 or 18 and a DEX above 16. I think it is easier to use gunners instead of melee. I suggest getting the highest INT possible. You can use starting characters or make your own. There is not much strategy as far as combat. You are meant to piece together clues and use them to advance. Here are a few tips to hopefully make your experience better. If you have never really played the original wasteland then this game may feel a bit disappointing.
